Young filmmaker from Morelia city, México. He has participated in numerous
national and international plastic arts exhibitions as well as audiovisual works. He has been selected three times by the
Morelia International Film Festival.
He has held
nine individual exhibitions of fine arts and directed
three fantastic short films. The second, The Hour of Dreams (2015) with 43 official selections around the world and has won two awards:
Best Animated Short Film at 2016 Babel Cuzco Festival (Perú) and at 2016 Hidden Door Festival (Scotland).
In 2017 he premiered
Los homenajeadores, at the CDMX National Cinema, which pays tribute to the fantastic genre films.
He also participated in the official selection of the
Feratum Film Fest, where he was awarded the
prize for best makeup. Rodrigo completed an internship in New York, where he held painting workshops for children. He also developed the
Walls of Jericho plastic arts project with the association Expressiones in New London.
He has been selected within the
Sitges International Film Festival, Spain. He is currently in the production of his short film The Funereal Willow. The Elements 2018.
